<p class="Body"><span><span>By the time you finish reading this short paragraph, at least one child will have died from a lack of accessible, clean water.  Did you know that you could be a part of relieving the world’s water problem in conjunction with climbing a mountain?  You have the opportunity to become a part of a trip to the Republic of Tanzania to attempt the summit of Africa’s highest peak, Mt. <p><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #808080;">This coming June The Last Well and Global Impact, the Missions Ministry of McLean Bible Church, are partnering on a 2-week missions/climbing trip to Tanzania. Week one of the trip will include missions outreach projects in the local town of Arusha. There the team will work with Manna on various projects. Week two will an attempt of summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro &#8211; Africa&#8217;s Highest peak. Kilimanjaro reaches an amazing 19,330ft and is one of the fabled Seven Summits. </span></span></p>
<p><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #c0c0c0; font-family: arial;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Tahoma;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #808080;">Two teams totalling 26 members will be making this trek to Africa. All costs associated with climbing during the second week will come out of each team members own expenses. No raised money through The Last Well or Global Impact will be used for climbing. Out of the total money raised by each team, a portion will go to The Last Well&#8217;s mission of providing clean water to Liberia as well as sharing Living Water. The remainder of the raised funds will go to Global Impact/MANNA to support their ongoing efforts in world missions.</span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #333333; font-family: Tahoma;"> </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The goal of Expedition Elbrus 2008 was to raise over $200,000 in support of THE LAST WELL, a Movement to provide clean water to an entire nation in the name of Jesus. The team will attempt to summit Mt. Elbrus, the highest mountain on the continent of Europe in order to raise awareness and support for the LAST WELL MOVEMENT. As the launch event for THE LAST WELL MOVEMENT, each team member of Expedition Elbrus 2008 is committed to being a fundraiser first, a climber second. Through the efforts of the team, Christ’s name will be glorified around the world as his followers provide clean water to an entire nation and preach the Gospel to the communities that are served by these wells. Each member of the Expedition Elbrus 2008 team is:</span></p>

<li>Passionate about the mission of THE LAST WELL MOVEMENT</li>
<li>Required to personally cover the costs associated with the expedition</li>
